Abney Hall Park
Abney Hall is a victorian residence located in Cheadle, North Cheshire (South Manchester) surrounded by substantial parkland, which we now use for our Bioticfit Outdoor Fitness classes. Built in 1847, Abney Hall has been fit for visits from the likes of Prince Albert, Benjamin Disraeli, Agatha Christie and William Gladstone! Now it’s spectacular grounds are fit for the Bioticfit fitness community for our outdoor fitness training and fitness bootcamps!
Why Abney Hall Park?
Abney Hall Park is superbly located between Parrs Wood and Cheadle village, therefore incredibly easy to navigate to. It sits just off the M60 junction 3, at the conclusion of the m56 and also just off the A34 Kingsway running from Manchester, past Parrs Wood and Cheadle right through to Wilmslow and Alderley Edge. The park also lends itself to diverse and exciting classes, with a wide range of interesting, picturesque areas joined together by weaving paths that lead through wetlands and trees passing streams, ponds, bridges and even waterfalls!
How do I find it?
Postcode for your SatNav – SK8 2PD (though please use the map as well!)
From Manchester – Join the A34 South until slight left at Wilmslow Road (B5095) then approximately 800 yards, take a left into Abney Hall Park and drive up to the Hall.
From M60 – Junction 3, A34 exit to Cheadle. Keep left onto A34 then left at lights onto Gatley Road (A560) through Cheadle Village 300 yards then slight left at lights onto Manchester Road (B5095) towards Parrs Wood and turn right into Abney Hall Park.
From M56 - M56 towards Manchester, keep left to merge onto M60 and exit for Cheadle (A560) junction 2. At the roundabout, take the 5th exit onto Stockport Road (A560) and after 700 yards turn right at the lights onto Manchester Road (B5095) towards Parrs Wood and turn right into Abney Hall Park.
Where in the park do we meet?
The entrance to the main hall is situated opposite the Alexander Hospital/Mill Lane Cemetary. There is parking on your left as you enter the park but the meeting point is further up the drive besides the hall itself, where there is further, limited parking. So come enjoy your fitness classes in Cheadle soon!

Indoor Venue
For our new Thursday evening classes, follow the below instructions.
From M60 : Travelling from either direction, take junction 3 for the A34 south to Wilmslow and Alderley Edge. Note: This exit is not available from the M56. Immediately after slip road, turn left at traffic lights to Cheadle. Straight on at the next traffic lights onto the shopping high street. Bear left at the next lights and immediately turn right behind the car sales onto Newlands Road, a narrow single track lane. Follow the road under the railway bridge and past a fishing lake to the Centre car park on the right.
From M56 : Follow the signs for Stockport which will lead you onto the M60. Leave immediately at junction 2. Turn right at the roundabout for Cheadle. Straight on at the first set of traffic lights. Turn sharp right at the next set of lights and immediately turn right behind the car sales onto Newlands Road, a narrow single track lane. Follow the road under the railway bridge and past a fishing lake to the Centre car park on the right.
Use “SK8 2NP” to arrive near the bridge by the entrance to Newlands Road.
